We have created a unique technology for a vertical axis small-scale wind turbine. The innovativeness comes from three key features: The double-bladed design; The modular design; Materials & production technology
Our Turbine has two sets of blades. The set of fixed external blades (baffles) has two main functions: they direct the wind on the internal rotor blades in the right angle, and they add incredible stability to the structure.
The set of moving internal blades (rotor) move the vertical axis. Both sets of blades have a sophisticated curvature optimising and controlling the rotor-space dynamics: the speed-, and the direction of the wind, and pressure on the blades.
Also, the number of internal and external blades is different, eliminating the possibility of a perfect blade to blade conjuncture, which could create vibration.
The baffles also act as a shield for the rotor, fulfilling multiple purposes:
· Protect the rotor from external forces, decreasing the chance of rotor-damage.
· Suppress the sound of the rotor, enabling almost entirely silent operation.
· Protect the surroundings from a potentially catastrophic system failure. Even if the rotor could suffer substantial damage, the baffles are shielding the surrounding area from it.
We have a standard sized modular design, and we deliver all capacity-size installations with more of the same sized modules (e.g. an 8kW solution will have 8 modules). As we manufacture the same product to satisfy different customer needs, it is easy to plan manufacturing and raw material requirements. Also, the modular aspect gives us great flexibility on installations, significantly expanding the potential customer base for our product (urban or dense residential areas, or top of buildings).
The turbine is built almost entirely from aluminium sheets, which makes it lighter than other VAWT and HAWT solutions. The production technology is very simple: The aluminium sheets are pressed into curved blades, and the structure is assembled with riveting. Also, the turbine is 100% recyclable.
The cross-section diagram of the turbine module shows the wind behaviour and the simplified way it works. We improve on every other VAWT designs in all the steps of energy generation.

The curved baffles act as a funnel for the wind, directing it to the movable interior blades at the optimal angle, independently of wind direction. The baffles turn wind (even if gusty or turbu
